Primary Focus & Experience
Ms. Legaspi’s experience includes the representation of project sponsors and financial institutions in a wide range of US and cross-border project and structured financings, with a particular emphasis on digital infrastructure and power-related financings.
Her recent representations include:
- Switch, Inc. in connection with nearly $10 billion of data center financings, including project financings, corporate revolvers and borrowing base facilities.
- The financing sources in connection with the financing for the acquisition, construction, operation and transfer of a seawater plant and pipeline assets in Chile.
- LS Power in its acquisition of the renewable energy business of Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp., a portfolio comprising 44 operating wind and solar assets with over 3,000 MW of generating capacity across the United States and Canada. The portfolio also includes an 8,000 MW development pipeline spanning wind, solar, battery energy storage, and renewable natural gas projects.
- The lenders in connection with the $176 million financing of a solar plant located in Peru, sponsored by Solarpack.
Recognition & Accomplishments
Ms. Legaspi is a native Spanish speaker and she is admitted to practice in New York. She earned her L.L.M. from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and her law degree from Universidad Iberoamericana Ciudad de Mexico.
