Benjamin Miles is a partner in the New York office of Milbank LLP and a member of the firm’s Leveraged Finance Group.

Primary Focus & Experience
Mr. Miles represents leading private credit funds, institutional lenders and other investors across a broad range of private credit transactions, including unitranche, second lien, holdco debt and preferred equity financings. He also regularly advises arrangers, administrative agents and lenders in syndicated loan transactions, including cross-border financings and complex multi-tranche credit facilities.
Mr. Miles also has significant experience representing underwriters and initial purchasers in public and private high yield bond offerings, investment grade bond offerings, equity offerings and other capital markets transactions.
Recognition & Accomplishments
Mr. Miles was ranked as a Notable Practitioner for Banking and Capital Markets: Debt, Equity in IFLR1000’s 2024 and 2025 United States (Nationwide) and New York rankings.
Mr. Miles earned his J.D. from the New York University School of Law, where he was a notes editor for the Journal of Law & Liberty. He received his B.A. cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania.
