Amy Albert is an associate in the New York office of Milbank and a member of the firm’s Trusts, Estates and Exempt Organizations Group.

Recognition & Accomplishments
Ms. Albert earned her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and her B.A., summa cum laude, in Psychology and Criminal Justice, from Rutgers University. She earned an Advanced Certificate in the field of Estate Planning from New York University School of Law.
She co-authored an article in August 2024 titled “Use These Math Shortcuts in Estate Planning,” published in Bloomberg’s Tax Management Memorandum. The article outlines easy math heuristics that are helpful in advising clients in the wealth transfer tax system. She is a graduate of the ACTEC Mid-Atlantic Fellows Institute. Ms. Albert is a member of the New York State Bar Association and has contributed to reports by the Tax Section, including a report prepared in response to a 2024-2025 priority guidance plan project on the generation-skipping transfer tax effect of assignments of beneficial interests.
