Primary Focus & Experience
Alex has experience acting on a broad range of matters, with particular experience advising commercial and investment banks, direct lenders and other financial institutions on their financing transactions. Alex’s practice focuses on multi-jurisdictional leveraged (including acquisition) finance, general corporate and working capital facilities, refinancings and restructurings that involve a variety of borrowers across numerous sectors and industries.

- Advising an ad hoc group of senior lenders on the recapitalisation of the Accell Group, a market leading producer of bicycles
- Advising the financing sources on Providence Equity Partners’ acquisition of Tax Systems, the global tax and accounting software provider
- Advising Zegona Communications plc in connection with the repricing of its existing €920m TLB and related upsizing of its TLB to €1.29bn
- Advising Zegona Communications plc in connection with the refinancing of its acquisition of Vodafone Spain
- Advising Zegona Communications plc on its €4.2bn financing for the acquisition of Vodafone Spain
- Advising the financing sources in connection with the refinancing of the capital structure of one of the UK's top-tier wealth management and accountancy firms
- Advising the financing sources on PAI Partners acquisition of Audiotonix
- Advising the initial purchasers in connection with Fedrigoni’s €730m high yield bond offerings
- Advising the senior lenders to Keter Group on transfer of ownership
- Advising OEP from an English law financing perspective on acquisition of TechnipFMC’s measurement solutions business
- Advising the financing sources from an English law perspective in respect of (i) the senior secured debtor-in-possession letter of credit facility in connection with WeWork’s Chapter 11 Bankruptcy and (ii) the “first out” senior secured cash collateralized letter of credit facility in connection with WeWork’s Chapter 11 exit financing
- Advising the initial purchasers in connection with Fedrigoni’s €665m high yield bond offering and the upsize of its existing revolving credit facility
