Milbank’s Rebecca Marques, Karen McMaster Named Among IFLR1000 Women Leaders 2023

Milbank LLP London partners Rebecca Marques and Karen McMaster have been selected for inclusion in the 2023 IFLR Women Leaders list, an elite ranking category reserved for the most prominent women lawyers across the world working in the areas of law IFLR1000 researches.

Rebecca Marques is a partner in the firm’s European Leveraged Finance/Capital Markets group in London. Rebecca focuses on advising underwriters, issuers and sponsors on a range of complex financings in Europe, the United States and internationally, including leveraged buyouts, and in a wide variety of international securities transactions. Her practice and experience is broad, covering high yield debt offerings for leveraged buyouts and corporates, international capital markets transactions in general, liability management exercises and restructurings.

Karen McMaster is a partner in Milbank’s London office and a member of the firm’s Financial Restructuring group. Her experience spans a range of insolvency and reorganisation tools and processes, including UK schemes of arrangement, restructuring plans, administrations, US Chapter 11 and various European reorganisation mechanisms. Karen has also represented investors on a number of direct lending and special situations financing, often involving complex and bespoke debt instruments and inter-creditor structures.
