Milbank's London Tax Practice Hosts Event for Asset Manager and Sovereign Investor Clients

Milbank LLP’s London Tax practice welcomed credit-side and transactional tax leads from a number of the firm’s asset manager and sovereign investor clients to its London office on October 15.

The event focused on European leveraged finance, covering funding techniques for lender vehicles in Luxembourg, Ireland and the UK; key issues in Italian, French and German leveraged finance; and technical and practical considerations relating to UK withholding tax. The session also provided an opportunity for attendees to exchange views on current market developments.

Milbank speakers included partner Alan Rafferty, special counsel Shaul Steinberg, associates Lily Teh and Jade Du Berry, and Munich-based associate Arne Hammerich. They were joined by speakers from Arendt, Matheson, PedersoliGattai and Gide.
