Milbank LLP Transportation and Space partner Freyda Mechlowicz spoke on the “Inside an Aviation ABS: From Origination to Closing” panel at the ISHKA Airfinance Investival: North America conference on October 20, 2026 in New York.
Ms. Mechlowicz, alongside Yash Bhansali (Goldman Sachs), Robert Cassidy (PAFS Ireland), Kartik Iyer (PIMCO) and Michael Lepri (KBRA), explored the aviation ABS lifecycle, including transaction structuring, the roles of key parties, rating agency and investor considerations and ongoing portfolio management. Ms. Mechlowicz’s practice focuses on a variety of international financial and corporate transactions involving transportation assets, such as aircraft or rolling stock. She advises on secured and unsecured lending, asset acquisition, acquisition or disposition of companies owning or leasing assets, leasing, and portfolio securitizations.
