Milbank Grows Global Project, Energy and Infrastructure Finance Group in Los Angeles with Partner Michael Klaus

Milbank LLP is pleased to announce that leading renewable energy attorney Michael D. Klaus has joined the Los Angeles office as a partner in the firm’s Global Project, Energy and Infrastructure Finance Group.

Edelman. “Michael’s addition complements the strategic expansion of our renewables practice over the last few years and contributes to our growing global project finance offerings more broadly.”

Mr. Klaus focuses his practice on the financing and sale of renewable energy projects. He has significant experience with every aspect of the acquisition, development and financing of energy and infrastructure projects across a range of technologies, including solar, wind and battery storage projects. His notable transactions include representing financial institutions in the financing of several of the largest or first-of-their-kind projects in the United States.

Mr. Klaus joins Milbank after eight years at Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, where he was a partner for the past five years. He received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
