Since establishing our Singapore office in the mid-1980s, Milbank has been one of the premier international law firms in the region, known for its sophisticated cross-border work. Today, the firm’s Asia practice includes over 60 lawyers advising on complex transactions across corporate, project finance, leveraged finance, private equity, capital markets, restructuring and litigation.
The Singapore office is a key hub for Milbank’s work across South and Southeast Asia, where the firm represents investors, financial institutions, multinational companies and other clients. Partners based in Singapore have worked in the region for more than 20 years and have a thorough understanding of the region’s legal and business environments.

In 2027, Milbank will mark a major milestone—celebrating 50 years in Asia. The firm made history in 1977 as the first US law firm to open offices in both Tokyo and Hong Kong, establishing a pioneering footprint in the region.
