Milbank LLP advised the initial purchasers, including Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, as Global Coordinators and Joint Book-Running Managers, and BofA Securities, Inc., Scotia Capital (USA) Inc., and SMBC Nikko Securities America, Inc., as Joint Book-Running Managers, in connection with the offering by Antofagasta plc of $500 million aggregate principal amount of 5.625% Senior Notes due 2032. Antofagasta is a Chile-based copper mining group.
The Milbank deal team was led by Marcelo Mottesi, Chair of Milbank’s Global Capital Markets practice and co-head of the firm’s Latin America Group, along with associates Gonzalo Guitart, Marcela Barba and international associate Santiago Freyre.
