Milbank LLP partner Jacqueline Chan led the panel discussion as moderator on the topical issue of "Private Equity in Southeast Asia Dealmaking” at the recent Southeast Asia Mergermarket M&A Forum held in Singapore. The forum included discussions around the latest trends and opportunities in the Southeast Asian M&A market. The panel, comprised of senior executives from CVC, Warburg Pincus, Partners Group and CDH Investments, shared insights on the impact of the increased participation by private equity players in the Southeast Asian M&A market, perceptions of private equity and opportunities for collaboration, key trends in investible sectors as well as challenges in sourcing deals in the region.
The inaugural M&A Forum, hosted by Mergermarket and AVCJ, was attended by leading corporate executives, investors, and advisors from around the world.
