Milbank Singapore-based partner Jacqueline Chan participated in a panel discussion titled “2022 Year in Review. What Lies Ahead in 2023?” at the inaugural Conference on International Aviation + Space Financing Law: Challenges, Changes and Innovation on June 9 in Singapore.
Ms. Chan, joined by panelists from regulatory bodies, commercial aviation manufacturers and international law firms, discussed the evolution and emergence of financing structures in the Asia-Pacific region in the space and aviation industries, key regulatory changes and challenges, as well as the role of technology in shaping the future of both industries.
Regularly recognized as an exceptional leader and dealmaker by key industry publications, Ms. Chan advises on many of the most innovative, cutting-edge M&A and corporate finance transactions in the Asia region. She was named among Asia’s Top 15 Female Lawyers in 2022 by Asian Legal Business, and among Asia’s Top 15 M&A Lawyers in 2021 by the same publication. Most recently, she was named “Lawyer of the Year” by The Best Lawyers 2024 in Insolvency and Reorganization Law in Singapore, an honor that is awarded to only a single lawyer in each practice area. Ms. Chan also was recognized in Corporate Law and Mergers and Acquisitions Law by the same publication.
