NEW YORK, July 27, 2015 – Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP has once again earned a top spot on The American Lawyer’s prestigious A-List, ranking 8th on the magazine’s 2015 list of top law firms in the US, published in the August issue.
Am Law’s rankings are based on a combined score for four separate metrics – revenue per lawyer, pro bono work, diversity and associate satisfaction. The magazine assigns double weight to the revenue and pro bono scores, and then produces a total performance number. During the past year, Milbank’s scores for pro bono, diversity, and revenue per lawyer all increased.
Milbank has been a consistent presence on the A-List since it was launched in 2003. Only the country’s 20 highest-scoring firms make the list each year. These firms are what Am Law editor-in-chief Kim Kleman calls “the best of the best – 20 well-rounded law firms that shine for their financial performance, pro bono contributions, satisfaction of associates and diverse workplaces.”
