Daniela Charris is an associate in the New York office of Milbank LLP and a member of the firm's Litigation & Arbitration Group.

Primary Focus & Experience

Ms. Charris' representations include:

  • Representing a bank in responding to third-party discovery requests in a complex civil litigation.
  • Representing Big Four auditing company in SEC investigations.
  • Representing board of directors in conducting internal investigation for Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
  • Representing aviation services in complex civil litigation.
  • Representing a bank executive of a publicly traded bank corporation in a government investigation on block trading.
  • Representing class action members in a lawsuit against the Suffolk County Police Department.
  • Representing client in obtaining Nonimmigrant U Visa Status.

Recognition & Accomplishments

Daniela received her J.D. degree, cum laude, from Howard University School of Law, as well as a B.A. degree from Franklin & Marshall College. In 2021, Daniela was the secretary of the Huver I. Brown Trial Advocacy Moot Court Team and competed against 32 other schools in the Capitol City Challenge, advancing to the championship round. She was also a student attorney at the Howard Clinical Center’s Criminal Justice Clinic and Movement Lawyering Clinic, where she represented clients in DC Superior Court. Daniela maintains an active pro bono practice and was awarded for her pro bono efforts by the firm. She has represented clients in federal court in all stages of disputes, including negotiating settlement agreements in the Southern District of New York. Daniela is a native Spanish speaker.
