Primary Focus & Experience

Anna Elizabeth specializes in acquisition finance, structured finance and general bank lending. She advises banks, financial institutions, private equity investors and corporate clients on national and cross-border transactions, including acquisition finance, secured and unsecured bank lending, syndicated loans, unitranches and other financial instruments. Other areas of expertise include infrastructure finance, property finance and restructuring.

Recognition & Accomplishments

Before joining Milbank, she worked at a “Magic Circle” law firm in Munich. Anna Elizabeth Merkl studied law at the University of Munich. She is admitted to the German bar and speaks both German and English.
