Primary Focus & Experience

Ms. Footer focuses her practice on structuring, negotiating, and executing transactions on behalf of private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies. In addition, Ms. Footer represents companies in connection with general corporate matters, including recapitalizations, buybacks, and reforming corporate governance.

Her representations and transactions include:

• One Equity Partners in the acquisition of Rosboro, a leading manufacturer of sustainable engineered wood products.*
• One Equity Partners in the sale of Merfish United, a leading master distributor of tubular building products in the United States, to Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. (NYSE:RS)*
• One Equity Partners in connection with its minority investment in Intren, LLC, a nationally certified Woman Business Enterprise and leading provider of specialty contracting services to major utilities.*
• Sterling Investment Partners IV LP in its sale of Anser Advisory, LLC, a leading advisory and management company for infrastructure projects in the United States, to Accenture (NYSE: ACN).*
• Griffon Corporation (NYSE: GFF) in its acquisition of ClosetMaid Corporation, a market leader of home storage and organization products, from Emerson Electric Co. (NYSE: EMR).*
