Kristina Hokenberg is special counsel in the New York office of Milbank and a member of the firm's global Project, Energy and Infrastructure Finance group. Previously she was resident in the firm's Singapore office.

Primary Focus & Experience
Kristina advises both lenders and borrowers on cross-border project financings, acquisition financings and refinancings involving multiple layers of debt and security in jurisdictions around the world. Most recently, she represented the lenders on a hydroelectric power project transaction in Indonesia; a mining company on a secured term loan financing to be used as a bridge to further project financing in Vietnam; a foods and consumer goods company on a syndicated term loan financing in Vietnam; and the commercial lenders and Korean export credit agencies on a complex non-recourse project financing of a petrochemical facility in Singapore. Kristina also has experience representing other borrowers and lenders in the power and natural resources sector.
Recognition & Accomplishments
Kristina received her B.A., highest honors, from Rutgers University; her Master’s in Public Administration from New York University and her J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center. She is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales and is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the State of New Jersey.
