Primary Focus & Experience
Mr. Karl represents institutional real estate investors in debt and equity transactions with a focus on bridge and mezzanine finance. He regularly advises banks, debt and private equity funds and asset managers in the origination, restructuring, sale and purchase of structured financings, including mortgage and mezzanine loans, construction loans, preferred equity investments, corporate credit facilities, repurchase agreements and the negotiation of intercreditor and co-lender agreements. He also frequently advises clients in the formation of joint ventures, as well as the acquisition, sale and leasing of real estate across all asset classes.
