Jeffrey M. Leider is a partner in the New York office of Milbank LLP and a member of the firm’s Global Project, Energy and Infrastructure Finance Group.

Primary Focus & Experience
Mr. Leider’s experience includes the representation of financial institutions and project sponsors in domestic and international project and structured financings, with a particular focus on power generation (conventional and renewable), oil and gas, and other energy and infrastructure projects in the Americas. He also frequently represents developers and private equity funds in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
His recent experience includes representing the sponsor in connection with the financing for 3.5GW of natural gas-fired power plants in the US, the investors in multiple private placements for power assets in Mexico and the United States, a financing for a large refinery project and oil terminal in the Caribbean, the acquisition of a 4GW portfolio of power generation assets located across the US, and multiple energy and infrastructure transactions across the United States and Latin America.
Recognition & Accomplishments
Mr. Leider graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, magna cum laude, earning his undergraduate degree in philosophy with honors. He received a J.D. degree from University of Texas School of Law with honors. Mr. Leider has been named a “Rising Star” by The Legal 500 and SuperLawyers.
