Primary Focus & Experience
Mr. Louvis focuses on appellate litigation in state and federal courts. He has handled cases on a wide range of issues, including administrative, criminal, antitrust, tort, arbitration, tax, intellectual property, and constitutional law. Mr. Louvis has briefed cases at every level of the federal judiciary, including three merits cases before the US Supreme Court.
Recognition & Accomplishments
Prior to rejoining the firm, Mr. Louvis clerked for Judge M. Margaret McKeown of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and Judge Kenneth M. Karas of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. He received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and his B.A. from Georgetown University, where he was a National Debate Tournament finalist.
