Primary Focus & Experience
Beginning her training contract at the firm in 2018, Emily has experienced a broad range of transactional and contentious practice areas, including Leveraged Finance and Capital Markets; Commercial Outsourcing & Technology; Financial Restructuring; and Litigation & Arbitration. Emily has experience in complex commercial disputes in the English Courts and financial regulatory investigations. She has also advised lenders in large cross-border restructuring matters.
Key experience includes:
- Acting for Visa in multiple sets of proceedings in the Competition Appeals Tribunal in relation to alleged infringements of competition law relating to the setting and implementation of multilateral interchange fees associated with the use of debit and credit cards.
