Colette Brashears is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Milbank LLP and a member of the firm's Global Project, Energy and Infrastructure Finance Group. Her practice focuses on federal and state energy regulatory matters affecting the development, financing, acquisition, and operation of energy and infrastructure assets.
Ms. Brashears advises clients on a broad range of issues arising under the Federal Power Act and related regulatory regimes, including transmission and interconnection matters, wholesale electricity market rules, electric reliability requirements, regulatory compliance, and energy industry transactions. She counsels project developers, lenders, investors, utilities, transmission owners, and other market participants on regulatory issues associated with energy and digital infrastructure investments, as well as evolving transmission, interconnection, and market developments affecting those assets.
