Primary Focus & Experience

He advises in corporate law and mergers & acquisitions with a particular focus on private equity transactions. He also gained experience advising on initial public offerings (IPOs) and other capital market transactions, as well as on general securities and capital markets law matters.

Recognition & Accomplishments

Christian Kolb studied law at King's College London (LL.B.), at the Humboldt University in Berlin (First State Exam) and at the University of Chicago Law School (LL.M.). He completed his legal traineeship (Rechtsreferendariat) at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court. As part of his training, he gained practical experience at international law firms in Hamburg, Frankfurt and London. He is a former scholarship holder of the German National Academic Foundation.

He is admitted to the bar in Germany and the State of New York and speaks German and English.
