Alfredo's recent experience includes the representation if:

• The lenders in connection with the $6.75 billion debt financing of the acquisition by KKR, together with Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) of an additional 45% equity interest in Sempra Infrastructure Partners, resulting in the KKR/CPPIB consortium becoming the majority owner holding a 65% equity stake in Sempra Infrastructure Partners.
• The lenders in connection with the $650 million debt financing for the acquisition by a joint venture between KKR and PSP of a 19.9% minority equity interest in AEP’s Ohio and Indiana Michigan transmission companies.
• ECP in connection with the financing of the acquisition by ECP of a portfolio of three natural gas-fired power generation facilities located in Ohio and Indiana from Blackstone and ArcLight.
• The lenders in connection with the $1.5 billion financing of Brookfield Asset Management’s acquisition of National Grid Renewables’ U.S. onshore renewables business, with 1.8 GW in operation and 1.3 GW under construction across projects located in Michigan, Wisconsin and Ohio.
• The purchasers in connection with the $543 million financing for Smoky Mountain Holdings LLC, a Delaware limited liability company that owns a 378 MW portfolio of four hydroelectric generating facilities known as Calderwood and Chilhowee, located in Tennessee, and Santeetlah and Cheoah, located in North Carolina, and associated transmission assets.
• The lender in connection with a non-recourse project financing to the Zelestra US Holding, LLC companies (Biscayne Falls Member, LLC and Biscayne Falls SPC, LLC) for the development, construction and operation of an 81.5 MWDC / 60 MWAC photovoltaic solar electricity generating plant located in Jasper County, Indiana.
• The lenders in connection with an approximately $206 million financing for a portfolio of 65 distributed generation photovoltaic solar and battery energy storage projects located in California and Illinois, totaling approximately 59.01 MW.
• The lenders in connection with the financing of the Coleto Project, an approximately 9.51-mile pipeline for the transportation, regulation and measurement of natural gas in Texas, by Woodway Energy.

Recognition & Accomplishments

Alfredo earned his LL.M. from New York University School of Law and his LL.B. from King’s College London. Alfredo also earned his M.A. and LL.B. from Paris-Panthéon-Assas University (Paris II).
