Milbank’s Singapore-based Transportation and Space partner Paul Ng was a recent guest lecturer at the National University of Singapore (NUS) on November 2, and at New York University Shanghai (NYU Shanghai) on November 22. Mr. Ng taught a class titled “Aircraft Sale and Purchase Agreements” to students in the post-graduate Aviation Law and Policy course at NUS, and presented a virtual lesson on “Aircraft Portfolio Sales and Acquisitions” to students in the post-graduate Private Equity & Venture Capital (PE/VC) in Asia and Emerging Markets business course at NYU Shanghai.

Mr. Ng is recognized by the aviation industry as one of the leading legal practitioners in the field of aircraft acquisition, financing and leasing. He is also the contributing editor of Legal 500’s International Comparative Guide for Aviation. Mr. Ng is committed to contributing to higher learning in the aviation sector by sharing his knowledge and expertise through lectures with the next generation of aviation sector entrants. In addition to his work with universities, Mr. Ng is often sought out for his insights on the transportation market by governments and media including BBC, Channel News Asia, Reuters and the Financial Times, and is a frequent panelist and speaker at premier aviation industry conferences, most recently speaking as a panelist at the Airfinance Journal Asia Pacific Conference in October.
