In the latest recognition of her outstanding legal work, Corporate partner and co-head of the Corporate practice in London Lisa O’Neill, has been named by General Counsel as a leader in delivering superior client service. The BTI M&A Client Service All-Stars Guide 2021 recognises lawyers, identified solely and exclusively by corporate counsel, who stand above all others in delivering the absolute best in client service.
Ms. O'Neill’s commitment to client service is based on investing in building long term, strategic partnerships, adding value and providing complementary services to her client's products with an emphasis on developing strong relationships across Milbank’s international network.
The accolade follows a stream of awards for Ms. O'Neill over the past few years, including most recently being named a Leading Corporate/M&A practitioner in the UK by Euromoney's Women in Business Law Expert Guides 2021, Corporate and Commercial: Individual (London) of the Year by Legal 500 UK 2020, and Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Year in Mergers and Acquisitions by Law360, the M&A Deal of the Year International M&A Award from The M&A Advisor for advising Praxair Inc on its US$10 billion divestment of assets in Europe, North America and South America (required for the consummation of the US$90 billion Praxair-Linde merger), and she was named Best in Mergers & Acquisitions by Euromoney Legal Media Group’s Women in Business Law Awards - Europe.
