LOS ANGELES, May 13, 2015 – Milbank Litigation partner Linda Dakin-Grimm has been honored as one of California’s “Top Women Lawyers of 2015” by the Daily Journal, a leading legal publication. The list recognizes the state’s most accomplished women lawyers, including 75 litigators and 25 corporate lawyers. This is the fourth time Ms. Dakin-Grimm has been named to this prestigious list.
Ms. Dakin-Grimm, who works in Milbank’s Los Angeles and New York offices, has successfully handled numerous jury and bench trials, appeals and arbitration proceedings across the US. Last fall, Ms. Dakin-Grimm won a high-profile jury trial in Los Angeles Superior Court on behalf of BMI, concerning efforts of third parties to take for themselves the performance royalties earned by songwriter Sly Stone, of Sly & the Family Stone.
Earlier this year, the Daily Journal also recognized Ms. Dakin-Grimm for her work on the Sly Stone trial, which the publication named among its “Top 20 Defense Results of 2014.” She has consistently been ranked as a leading lawyer by Chambers USA (Band 1), Benchmark Litigation, The International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers and The Best Lawyers in America.
