Milbank Litigation partner Fiona Schaeffer will moderate a panel titled “Liability for Cartel Fines; Managing Risks within Corporate Structures and Conducting M&A” at the Global Competition Review’s 6th Annual Antitrust Law Leaders Forum on February 3, 2017.
The panel will discuss the following:
- What is the current state of the attribution of liability for cartel conduct in Europe?
- How do private equity companies assess and manage the risk of being held liable for the conduct of their portfolio companies or of the companies they are considering acquiring / investing in or have sold / exited?
- How do large portfolio companies (particularly those that have been held liable previously for cartel conduct) manage risks of cartel conduct within their organizations?
