Milbank Transportation and Space partner Dara Panahy will moderate a panel titled “Low Earth Orbit and Medium Earth Orbit Internet Constellations” on October 10 at the Satellite Innovation Conference in Silicon Valley. Panelists will discuss potential changes in the paradigm for satellite communications and internet connectivity in light of emerging constellations being proposed by several companies, many which have the potential to offer broadband with much lower latency than GEO satellites. With the rollout of new constellations coming online over the next few years, the discussion will also cover the capabilities of these constellations, and satellite industry trends. Panelists include professionals from SES, aSatNet, LeoSat Enterprises, OneWeb Satellites, and Telesat Canada.
Mr. Panahy will also be participating in a fireside chat during the conference with Mark Dankberg, Chairman and CEO of Viasat.
