Milbank Structured Finance partners Jay Grushkin, Sean M. Solis and Deborah Festa, and special counsel Jon Burke will be participating in panels on December 9, 2019 as part of the Opal Group’s CLO Summit in Dana Point, California.
The CLO Summit is an educational forum designed for investors, issuers, underwriters, rating agencies, lawyers and accountants. The conference will serve as an opportunity where a meaningful dialogue can be opened to address concerns regarding this dynamic segment of Asset-Backed Finance.
Mr. Grushkin will speak on the “How to Analyze Structural Features of a CLO” panel in which panelists will discuss the latest and greatest in CLO structures and what new structural features to expect in 2020, CLO pricing and its impact on structure, as well as the latest developments in features such as reinvestment, WAL tests, Cov-Lite Loans and Repricings. Mr. Solis will be a panelist on the “Launching a CLO Platform” panel and will discuss attracting investors and infrastructure options to support the platform. Ms. Festa will speak on the panel “CLO Markets in a Regulated Environment”, which will cover risk retention, leveraged loans, liquidity, and legal issues. Mr. Burke will moderate the panel “How to Construct a CLO: Building a Portfolio and Negotiating Documents,” discussing key structural and legal features of deals, mechanics of portfolio construction, and credit investment strategies.
Milbank London partners James Warbey and John Goldfinch and associates from London, Los Angeles and New York will also be in attendance.
