Milbank LLP Structured Credit partner Brett Stone and special counsel Christina Glover will speak at the ABS East conference on October 20, 2026 in Miami, Florida.
Mr. Stone will speak on the “Read the Fine Print: CLO Documentation, LMEs and Workout Strategy” panel. Panelists will cover how liability management exercises, distressed exchanges and amend-and-extend activity can help reshape the leveraged loan market, and how CLO outcomes increasingly depend on documentation, creditor protections and manager discretion as much as headline credit quality. The panelists will also cover how managers, investors, arrangers, lawyers and rating agencies are adapting as borrower flexibility tests traditional protections. Mr. Stone's practice includes a broad spectrum of representing lenders and borrowers in domestic and cross-border financing transactions, including ABS and CLOs, secured lending, asset-backed loans and other bespoke and complex structured investments.
Ms. Glover will moderate the panel, “The ETF Effect: CLO Technology and the Next Wave of Innovation,” leading the discussion on the rise of CLO ETFs, expanding retail participation, evolving distribution models, enhanced transparency and reporting, and innovations in surveillance, analytics and portfolio management. Panelists will discuss how a broadening investor base and improved market access can change liquidity, demand dynamics and the future evolution of the CLO. Ms. Glover’s practice includes the representation of financial institutions in their capacity as issuers, underwriters and asset managers in CLO transactions.
