Milbank Special Counsel Janet Nadile to Discuss UCC Cases and Updates at ACFA’s Continuing Legal Education Weekend

Milbank LLP Global Leveraged Finance special counsel Janet Nadile will speak on “The Annual UCC & Commercial Law Update” panel on May 30, 2025 during The Association of Commercial Finance Attorney’s (ACFA) Continuing Legal Education Weekend at Mohonk Mountain House in New York. The panelists will discuss recent Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) and other commercial law cases, the status of enactments of the 2022 UCC amendments, the Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors Act (up for approval at the Uniform Law Commission meeting in July 2025) and recent UCC Commentaries by the Permanent Editorial Board of the UCC. 

Ms. Nadile developed and presents the Secured Transaction Series for Milbank’s finance groups, and she initiated and oversees the firm’s recommended collateral procedures for secured transactions. Ms. Nadile’s practice focuses on a broad array of commercial law and secured transactions, with an emphasis on issues regarding Articles 8 and 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code. She also advises on matters involving collateral subject to the UCC and other statutes, frequently for the technology, media, telecommunications, automotive, healthcare and natural resources industries, among others.
