Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP recently represented the initial purchasers in two separate Peruvian bond offerings.
Milbank represented the initial purchasers in the S/200 million offering of 4.850% senior notes due 2020 by Banco de Crédito del Perú, the largest bank and the leading supplier of integrated financial services in Peru. This issuance is one of the largest local currency-denominated offerings by a Peruvian issuer in the international capital markets.
The Milbank deal team was led by partner Marcelo Mottesi, head of Milbank’s Global Capital Markets practice and co-head of the firm’s Latin America Group, along with associates Gladisley Sánchez, Delia Solomon and international attorney Leandro Belusci.
The firm also represented the initial purchasers in the $450 million offering of 8.375% senior notes due 2021 by Inkia Energy Limited and in their concurrent cash tender offer and consent solicitation.
The deal team was led by Marcelo Mottesi, along with special counsel Ben Garcia, and associates Don Canavaggio and Rocio Portela-Berrios.
