NEW YORK, July 3, 2012 – International law firm Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP has been ranked fifth overall on TheAmerican Lawyer’s leading 2012 A-List, climbing two positions from last year. Milbank also ranked fifth in Pro Bono and sixteenth in Diversity. The A-List, created in 2003, assesses and ranks the nation's largest and most prominent law firms in four areas, including revenue per lawyer, pro bono activity, associate satisfaction, and diversity.

In 2011, Milbank attorneys were responsible for more than 51,000 hours of pro bono, averaging 114 hours per lawyer, and earning the firm a one-notch increase over its 2010 pro bono rank.
