Milbank Partners Naomi Ishikawa, Carolina Walther-Meade and Karen Wong Listed in IFLR1000 Women Leaders For Third Consecutive Year

Capital Markets partner Naomi Ishikawa and Project, Energy and Infrastructure Finance partners Carolina Walther-Meade and Karen Wong were recognized as IFLR1000 Women Leaders for 2020. All three partners have been named IFLR1000 Women Leaders since the survey’s inaugural year in 2018.

Naomi Ishikawa is a partner in the Singapore office of Milbank LLP and a member of the firm’s Global Capital Markets Group. Her practice focuses on cross-border transactions including equity offerings and privatizations, high-yield offerings and liability management transactions, mergers and acquisitions and private equity investments throughout Southeast Asia and South Asia.

Carolina Walther-Meade is a partner in the New York office of Milbank LLP and a member of the firm’s Global Project, Energy and Infrastructure Finance and Latin America Practice Groups. She has extensive experience representing finance providers as well as sponsors in cross-border financings and international project finance and development, with an emphasis on transportation, oil and gas, infrastructure, mining and energy projects throughout Latin America. She has also been involved in numerous multi-jurisdictional acquisition financings and structured financings in the region.

Karen Wong is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Milbank LLP and a member of firm’s Global Project, Energy and Infrastructure Finance Group. Her practice focuses on the representation of sponsors and financing parties in connection with the development, acquisition, financing and restructuring of energy and other infrastructure facilities, with special expertise in the renewable energy sector.  She has led the development and financing for some of the largest energy projects across the United States, China, Southeast Asia, and South America, including transactions involving solar, wind, hydroelectric, geothermal, biomass, waste energy, clean coal, gasification and  carbon sequestration facilities.
