Milbank LLP partner Marcelo Mottesi, chair of the firm’s Corporate Finance and Securities Group and co-head of the Latin America practice, and Corporate Finance and Securities partner Adam Brenneman have been named to the Latinvex 2025 list of Latin America's Top 100 Lawyers.
The selection process is based on several criteria, including recent track record on major deals, prominence of the firm in Latin America, and rankings by third parties such as Chambers and The Legal 500.
Mr. Mottesi’s practice centers on corporate, capital markets and finance matters. His clients include domestic and foreign companies, as well as US and foreign banks. He has extensive experience across a broad range of industries, including energy, financial services, telecommunications, forestry/agriculture, technology, manufacturing, real estate, entertainment and retail.
Mr. Brenneman’s innovative work on cross-border transactions includes some of the region’s largest capital markets, special situations financing and restructuring transactions. He advises issuers, underwriters and capital providers in transactions such as IPOs, bond issuances, liability management transactions, loans, special situations, and distressed investing and distressed exchange offers.
