Milbank LLP Transportation and Space partners Dara Panahy and Patrick Campbell moderated panels at Novaspace’s World Space Business Week 2026, held September 14 – 17, 2026 in Paris.
Mr. Panahy moderated “The Key Financial Priorities for the Space Industry” panel on September 14. He was joined by speakers from ING, KippsDeSanto, Morgan Stanley, MUFG Bank and Rothschild & Co, discussing funding in the rapidly growing aerospace and defense sectors. Mr. Panahy, head of Milbank’s Space Business practice globally, focuses on the representation of aerospace infrastructure operators, manufacturers, launch services providers, communications companies, banks, private equity firms and hedge funds in debt and equity offerings, project, structured and vendor financings, mergers & acquisitions, financial restructurings and negotiating commercial contracts.
Mr. Campbell moderated the “Global Venture Capital in a Rapidly Evolving Market” panel on September 15. He was joined by speakers from Alpine Space Venture, Beyond Earth Ventures and Seraphim Space, discussing private investment in space. Mr. Campbell’s practice focuses on transactional, corporate and regulatory matters in the digital infrastructure space, working extensively on such matters on behalf of domestic and foreign fiber optic, wireless, data center, tower, satellite, computing service, media and Internet companies as well as banks, private equity firms and other entities.
