Milbank Partner Gurbir S. Grewal to Speak at Goldman Sachs Sikh Group’s Pioneering Perspectives Event

Gurbir S. Grewal, Litigation & Arbitration partner at Milbank LLP and former Director of the SEC’s Division of Enforcement, will speak at the Goldman Sachs GS Sikh Group’s inaugural “Pioneering Perspectives: Voices of Influence in Public Life” event in London on May 7, 2026.

Mr. Grewal will join a distinguished panel alongside Lord Indarjit Singh CBE, Baron of Wimbledon and one of the first Sikh members of the House of Lords, and Lady Singh (Dr. Kanwaljit Kaur OBE), President of the Global Sikh Council, for a dynamic discussion moderated by Randeep Dhillon, Managing Director at Goldman Sachs. The panelists will share personal anecdotes from their pioneering careers, discussing how their values and heritage have influenced their professional journeys, contributed to their leadership success and shaped their lasting contributions to public service.

Before joining Milbank, Mr. Grewal served as Director of the SEC’s Division of Enforcement, overseeing all investigations and enforcement actions and supervising a staff of more than 1,300 attorneys and accountants. He previously served as Attorney General of the State of New Jersey and as a federal prosecutor. Mr. Grewal was the first Sikh American to serve as a state attorney general and as the SEC’s Enforcement Director.
