The latest edition of Global Competition Review’s (GCR) Leading Women in Antitrust has recognized Milbank partner Fiona Schaeffer among the leading competition lawyers and economists globally. Published since 2009, Women in Antitrust celebrates the brightest stars of antitrust law.Ms. Schaeffer is an international antitrust lawyer with more than 25 years of experience practicing on both sides of the Atlantic. Clients entrust her with the defense of “bet-the-company” criminal and civil cases as well as their most complex transactions. She counsels clients in a variety of industries, with a particular depth of experience in healthcare, financial services, energy, media and communications.
Ms. Schaeffer was recognized in the previous Leading Women in Antitrust feature in 2016 and also previously named one of the top 40 leading lawyers globally in GCR’s 40 under 40. She was recently elected as Vice Chair of the American Bar Association Antitrust Law Section. Earlier this year she was recognized in Euromoney Legal Media Group’s Women in Business Law Expert Guide 2021.
