Milbank LLP Transportation and Space partner Dara Panahy was featured on the Opening Keynote at the AVIA Satellite Industry Forum on May 31, 2022 in Singapore. Mr. Panahy spoke with Steve Collar, CEO of SES, regarding “Where Will Future Growth Come From?”, including the growth strategies, opportunities and challenges of the satellite communication industry in the coming years, with a focus on Asia.
As leader of the firm’s Transportation and Space Group in Washington, DC, Mr. Panahy’s practice involves representation of satellite operators, aerospace manufacturers, launch services providers, communications companies, banks, private equity firms and hedge funds in debt and equity offerings, project, structured and vendor financings, mergers & acquisitions, financial restructurings and in negotiating commercial contracts. He also advises on regulatory, sanctions, anti-corruption, national security and export control matters.
