Milbank LLP Litigation partners Nola Heller and George Canellos will moderate panels at the New York City Bar Association’s White Collar Crime Conference on May 14 in New York City.
Ms. Heller will moderate the "Lessons from Recent Trials” panel. Ms. Heller heads Milbank’s White Collar and Investigations Group and has led or supervised more than 40 federal jury trials. Prior to joining Milbank, Ms. Heller served for 11 years as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of New York, where she led two different units, first serving as Co-Chief of the General Crimes Unit and then as Chief of the Violent and Organized Crime.
Mr. Canellos will moderate the "Former SEC Officials Speak" panel. Mr. Canellos served most recently as co-director of the SEC’s Division of Enforcement and before that as the Enforcement Division’s acting director and deputy director. At Milbank, he is the Global Head of the Litigation & Arbitration Group and has more than three decades of experience prosecuting and defending white-collar criminal cases and civil actions arising under the securities laws.
