Milbank LLP Litigation & Arbitration partners George Canellos and Gurbir S. Grewal will speak at SIFMA’s C&L Annual Seminar, taking place March 22–25, 2026, in Orlando, Florida. Their panels will be held on Tuesday, March 24.
Both attorneys previously held senior roles at the SEC. Mr. Canellos, former Co-Director of the SEC’s Division of Enforcement, will bring his extensive enforcement experience to the “Regulatory and Criminal Law Update: Developments, Trends & Priorities” panel. He will be joined by moderator Elaine Mandelbaum (Interactive Brokers) and panelists John Fagg (Moore & Van Allen), Joon Kim (Cleary Gottlieb) and Samantha Schreiber (Morgan Stanley).
Mr. Grewal, who most recently served as Director of the SEC’s Division of Enforcement, will share his perspective on the current administration’s enforcement priorities in the “Former Enforcement Directors: A View from the Outside” panel. He will be joined by moderator Sara Raisner (A&O Shearman) and panelists Andrew Ceresney (Debevoise), Jamie McDonald (Sullivan & Cromwell) and Susan Schroeder (WilmerHale).
