Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP has been honored by the New York State Bar Association’s Empire State Counsel Program, recognizing its many attorneys who exceeded 50 hours of pro bono legal services during the past year. At a luncheon January 26, Anthony Perez Cassino, Milbank’s Assistant Director of Public Service, accepted the award on behalf of the firm and the more than 150 Milbank partners, counsel and associates who contributed at least 50 hours of their time to pro bono matters, including advising on immigration, criminal appeals, domestic violence and other family law matters, non-profit management, and more.
“It is a tremendous testament to the vibrant pro bono culture at Milbank that 150 of our lawyers provided more than 50 hours of pro bono last year. We applaud their efforts and appreciate the New York State Bar Association’s recognition of their achievements,” says Mr. Cassino.
