Milbank LLP advised the dealers in connection with Banco de Crédito del Perú's ("BCP") offering of $500 million 6.600% subordinated fixed-to-fixed rate notes due 2037 (callable 2031). BCP is a leading commercial bank organized under the laws of the Republic of Peru.

This is the latest in a long line of BCP financings Milbank has handled. The firm previously represented the dealers in BCP's offering of $750 million 6.450% subordinated fixed-to-fixed rate notes due 2035 (callable 2030). Milbank also advised the initial purchasers and dealer managers on BCP's issuances of $700 million 2.70% senior notes due 2025 and S/2,500 million 4.65% senior notes due 2024, along with the concurrent tender offers for BCP's outstanding 5.375% senior notes due 2020 and 4.85% senior notes due 2020.

"We are pleased to have once again advised on a BCP financing. This offering reflects the continued strength of Peruvian and other Latin American issuers in the international capital markets, and the confidence investors place in BCP as one of the region's premier financial institutions,” said Marcelo Mottesi, chair of Milbank's Corporate Finance and Securities practice and co-head of the firm's Latin America group.

The Milbank deal team was led by Mr. Mottesi, with support from Corporate Finance and Securities special counsel Gonzalo Guitart and associates Mackenzie Martin, Pamela Molina and Daniel Kuri Brena Rosillo.
