Law360 recently reported on Milbank’s representation of Benjamin Chow, Founder and Managing Partner of Canyon Bridge Capital Partners LLC, a private equity firm, in connection with his trial and sentencing in an insider trading prosecution in the Southern District of New York.
At the sentencing proceeding on January 17, 2019, the court rejected the prosecution’s request for a sentence of between six and a half to eight years’ imprisonment, and sentenced Mr. Chow to just three months’ imprisonment. The judge did not impose a fine or forfeiture.
