Crain’s Recognizes New York Bar’s Most Talented Lawyers
Georgiana Slade, partner and Practice Group Leader of Milbank’s Trusts and Estates Group, was named to the inaugural list of “Leading Women Lawyers in New York City,” published by Crain’s New York Business. The list highlights the City’s most talented women lawyers, who juggle distinguished careers and exceptional civic and philanthropic activities.
The 100 women named to the list are “trailblazers who found multiple paths to excellence,” noted Crain’s. The publication also notes that many of the partners on the Crain’s 100 list are in a position to boost the pipeline of female talent. “With such exceptional talent among our inaugural class of Leading Women Lawyers, no doubt the future ratio of female partners will rise at New York firms as these exceptional women mentor a new generation of legal superstars.”
Milbank’s Trusts and Estates Group is ranked one of the top practices in the US. Ms. Slade’s practice focuses on representing CEOs of public companies, closely held business owners, hedge fund and private equity fund managers and other wealthy individuals (both domestic and foreign) and their families with estate, philanthropic and personal planning needs. She also represents individual and corporate fiduciaries in matters relating to the administration of estates and trusts, including contested matters.
Ms. Slade is held in high esteem both within Milbank and in the Trusts & Estates Bar.
