Benchmark Litigation Recognizes Milbank Partners in Its 2026 “Top 250 Women in Litigation” List

Milbank LLP Litigation & Arbitration partners Nola Heller and Colleen Roh Sinzdak have been recognized in Benchmark Litigation’s 2026 edition of the “Top 250 Women in Litigation.”

Ms. Heller is the head of Milbank’s White Collar and Investigations Group and has more than two decades of experience as a former federal prosecutor and defense attorney. She regularly serves as lead counsel on behalf of global financial institutions, multinational companies, boards and individuals in high-stakes investigations and major criminal and regulatory enforcement matters. This marks her seventh consecutive year on the Benchmark Litigation list.

Ms. Sinzdak specializes in Supreme Court, appellate and complex litigation. A former Assistant to the Solicitor General and one of just 30 women in history to have argued 10 or more times before the US Supreme Court, she has advocated for the winning position in major cases involving securities litigation, bankruptcy, patent law and more. She has briefed well over 100 Supreme Court cases and has briefed, argued and won numerous cases before the courts of appeals and the district courts. This past year, Ms. Sinzdak was part of the team the won the landmark 6-3 victory in the tariffs case – which The New York Times called “the most important Supreme Court decision this century” – and she is currently litigating the refund efforts that have already resulted in more than $100 billion in refunds for American businesses.
