Milbank Capital Markets partner Apostolos Gkoutzinis spoke on a panel titled “Investing in Greece: Opportunities and Risks in International Capital Markets” at the Delphi Economic Forum III.
The Delphi Economic Forum is the leading annual conference and think tank among the country’s leading policy makers and business leaders, and includes senior figures from global political, financial and academic institutions.
This year’s Forum, the third one, which took place March 1-4, aimed to identify the main global trends, assess their implications and review the resulting challenges and policy options confronting decision-makers of the wider Eastern Mediterranean Region.
Mr. Gkoutzinis’ panel focused on the ability of Greece to attract foreign direct investment and the issues that must be resolved before international financial institutions and investors purchase real or financial assets in the country.
