An associate in the firm’s Technology Practice, Faraaz regularly advises banks, corporates, software companies and service providers on the outsourcing of IT infrastructure, application development and business transformation operational platforms and renegotiated framework agreements. He also advises two major suppliers in the investment management services sectors. He has worked in private practice in London, Singapore and Shanghai. He is a fluent Hindi/Urdu speaker and has worked as an in-house lawyer at a UK retail bank, a European investment bank and for a US software company.
Faraaz has experience advising on information technology, outsourcing, asset management services, intellectual property and a range of commercial law matters.
Faraaz has also advised US software companies and Indian IT service providers, including renegotiating outsourcing agreements and software licences with new customers. He also advises two major suppliers in the middle office and fund administration outsourcing sectors.
He has recently returned to the London office having been resident in Milbank’s Singapore office for the last 3 years.
