Milbank LLP Global Project, Energy and Infrastructure Finance partner Allan Marks will moderate the panel “Project Financing of Offshore Wind Projects” at the Winds of Change: Tracking the Development of US Offshore Wind Energy Conference on March 3, 2023. The conference is co-hosted by Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment, the Nicholas Institute for Energy, Environment & Sustainability and the Center for Energy, Development, and the Global Environment (EDGE) at the Fuqua School of Business.
Mr. Marks will shape the conversation alongside his co-panelists Jonah Wagner from the Department of Energy’s Loans Programs Office and Suedeen Kelly from Jenner & Block. The conference brings together developers, NGO representatives, government officials and business leaders to discuss the path forward for US offshore wind infrastructure in the next decade. Panelists will provide insight into the practical realities of project financing, leasing and permitting, and discuss potential wildlife and environmental impacts.
